Shanna Masters Moczygemba is a native Texan who has loved drawing and painting since toddlerhood. She started painting in watercolor at the tender age of eight. She is a registered interior designer and after 13 years of working in high-end residential and commercial design, she moved on to pursue her dream of painting full-time.

Shanna paints original watercolor artwork and commissioned pieces, and works with stationers and other companies to create everything from wedding and event invitations, to logos. In her free time she enjoys hitting the gym, kayaking, photography, baking, reading shelter magazines and design books, and visiting museums, gardens, and historic homes. Shanna lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Daryl, and golden doodle pup, Bentley.​​
